Who are we? Why are we here?

We want to be more than just a literary magazine. We're just as interested in the process of writing as we are in the final product. By providing prompts for our online and print issues as well as our contests, we hope to encourage people to write new stories, poems, non-fiction, and anything in between.

We also want to bring writers at Northwestern together through our workshops and other quarterly events. Part of the process of writing is talking about writing. We want to help writers improve their craft by providing a forum to openly discuss their own work and the work of their peers.

We want to make writing at Northwestern an overall better experience by publishing a magazine that's interesting to read and fostering an encouraging, fun community for writers.
